Oversize Permit Chain
Permits obtained sequentially from all four county authorities and TxDOT. Permit conditions reviewed for move-time restrictions, escort requirements, and restricted corridors. All permits available in cab during transit.
ROUTE SURVEY
Pre-Move Highway Assessment
Licensed route survey engineer conducted full route inspection 48 hours before move date. Bridge load ratings confirmed, overhead utilities measured, intersection turn sweeps verified using scale diagram.
PILOT CARS
Front & Rear Escort
Two certified pilot car operators maintained front and rear escort throughout the route. Radio communication with transport driver maintained at all times. Pilot car operators authorized to halt traffic at uncontrolled crossings.
GPS TRACKING
Real-Time Position Monitoring
GPS tracker installed on transport vehicle provided real-time position data to project coordination team. Data archived as part of chain-of-custody documentation for the transported vessel.
