EPA CLOSURE
Regulatory Closure Report
Closure report prepared to meet applicable EPA and state environmental agency requirements. Report includes site history, investigation data, laboratory results, risk calculations, and engineer certification of clean closure.
RCRA
Hazardous Waste Program
All investigation-derived waste — soil cuttings, PPE, and decontamination effluent — managed under RCRA as potential hazardous waste. Waste characterization sampling performed before disposal at licensed TSDF.
SOIL SAMPLING
Grid Investigation Program
Soil samples collected at systematic grid spacing to EPA SW-846 method requirements. Sample depths selected based on site history and depth to groundwater. Samples shipped under chain of custody to accredited laboratory.
RISK-BASED
Tier 1/2 Closure Standard
Analytical results compared against EPA Tier 1 risk-based screening levels for industrial land use. Where Tier 1 exceedances were noted, site-specific Tier 2 calculations were performed using actual exposure parameters to demonstrate acceptable risk.
