CNG Station Dismantling

Decommissioning of a multi-dispenser CNG fueling station including compression skids, high-pressure storage cascades, and dispensing equipment. All 23 energy isolation points were locked out under a multi-employer LOTO program before any mechanical disconnection was initiated.

Technical
Breakdown

3,600 PSI

High-Pressure Isolation

System operating pressure of 3,600 PSI required staged depressurization through the cascade from dispensing pressure down to atmospheric. Each stage verified with calibrated pressure gauges before proceeding.

NFPA 52

CNG Facility Compliance

Full NFPA 52 CNG vehicular fuel systems standard compliance. Closure notification submitted to local fire marshal and AHJ. All permits obtained before mechanical disconnection.

LOTO PROGRAM

Multi-Employer Isolation

23 individual energy isolation points identified, documented, and controlled under a multi-employer LOTO program. Group lockout hasps applied at each point. Zero-energy state verified by field supervisor before each work phase.

DOT MANIFEST

Regulated Transport

CNG pressure vessels transported as regulated hazardous materials under DOT 49 CFR. All manifests, placarding, and driver certifications confirmed before load movement.
